Most of IU’s geospatial databases are available to the public to download with no use restrictions. Three tutorials are provided to help users, but the tutorials require JavaScript to be enabled on your computer and you need the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player. The “How to Use the Indiana Spatial Data Portal (ISDP) Multi-file Download Tool” is a little over 9 minutes long. It describes 4 different methods for discovery data when using the tool. The “Downloading, Unpacking and Viewing ISDP Data” tutorial is about 10 minutes. It is about downloading a zip archive from the ISPD and, maybe most helpful, what to do it you have difficulty distraction an ISPD zip file. The “How Do I Find Information about ISDP Datasets” tutorial is almost 9 minutes long and shows users how to open and view material after downloading it. To proceed, you need to logon. New users only need to provide an email address and accept the user agreement.
